My role and responsibilities

  • Managed cross-functional team of 8 in building and supporting the platform
  • Led design and frontend engineering, creating user interfaces that handled complex automation workflows
  • Oversaw business operations, including customer support, billing, and infrastructure management
  • Served 3,000 paid users with high reliability requirements during product launches

Challenges at scale

Performance: Processing hundreds of thousands of checkouts requires careful optimization of network requests, proxy management, and rate limiting. Reliability: Users depend on the platform during time-sensitive product drops. Downtime or errors mean lost opportunities. Support: Managing a user base of 3,000 paid users requires robust documentation, responsive support, and proactive communication. Anti-bot measures: E-commerce sites continuously update their anti-automation measures, requiring constant adaptation and updates.
